The Singapore Night Festival 2014 headliner is William Close’s Earth Harp, that will transform the grand iconic and majestic facade of National Museum of Singapore into the largest stringed instrument in Singapore. The headliner act of every Singapore Night Festival till date since its debut always attracts a huge audience to watch their performances and this year’s headliner William Close would definitely attract a huge audience to come down and watch! For his first showcase at the Singapore Night Festival, William Close will push boundaries yet again and specially collaborate with celebrated drum group ZingO, Singapore’s very own Sound of Sirens, and Austrian-based collective Phoenix.

Night Lights, is a crowd favourite (yes, one of my favourite too!) is also returning and be part of Singapore Night Festival. Walk around the Singapore Night Festival 2014 ground to discover and explore the various Night Lights displays! There is one amazing Night Lights display, it’s a photographic light art installation, Divine Trees by renowned French artist-photographer Clement Briend. He overlays trees with haunting mirages of divine figures highly revered in Asian culture, creating the illusion of awakened deities towering over passers-by. This is simply amazing and breathtaking, you cannot miss this photographic light art display! A tripod is highly recommended for you to take this amazing Divine Trees light art display!
