Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYSNMH) will also be participating in CNYFF 2025 for the first time! CNYFF 2025 will take place from 17 to 19 January 2025, offering three out of a total of 22 programmes, performances and activities at SCCC and Singapore Conference Hall (SCH).

According to Mr Alvin Tan, CEO/SCCC, “Together with SCO, we hope to bring festive cheer into the heart of the city, encourage more Singaporeans to join us for family-friendly arts and cultural festivities, and in the process, discover how we celebrate Chinese New Year in uniquely Singaporean ways,”

蛇prise CNY Art Installation: Don’t miss this! You have to visit SCCC’s CNY rooftop installation, the “蛇prise”, you can find a giant snake lawn installation, that’s also a prosperity pavilion and many more for you to bring your family and children to have fun and learn more about the Year of the Snake, CNY traditions and customs. 

The 蛇prise CNY Art Installation is beautiful in the night too when it’s lighted up! Your family can enjoy your time at SCCC Roof Garden under the stars while learning about CNY traditions, and customs, as well as enjoying the 蛇prise CNY Art Installation!

LED Snake Dance: A giant LED snake dance is going to dazzle visitors to SCCC CNYFF 2025, as they usher in the Year of the Snake at the SCCC Concourse.

Life-sized Snakes and Ladders Game: For those who still remember playing this traditional game “Snakes and Ladders”, time to go back in time with a life-sized larger than life snakes and ladders game at SCCC CNYFF 2025! Play with your family and children, have fun and learn about CNY traditions while playing and competing against your family and friends.

Year of the Snake Zodiac Forecast Exhibition: Are you curious about what’s your 2025 ahead is going to be like in the Year of the Snake? Pop by the Snake Zodiac SCCC’s Zodiac Predictions Exhibition at the Concourse and read about the forecast for your zodiac animal.

The Story of Golden Lions: Discover and learn about the history of the Golden Lions, watch a special performance by the lion dance troupe. You can also get a chance to put on the golden lion masks and try on props.

The SINGAPO人 Style Mahjong Classroom: Mahjong is one of Singapore’s favourite CNY games. Do you know about the origins, and cultural significance, and different styles of mahjong? Sign up for the SINGAPO人 Style Mahjong Classroom workshop for beginners, to learn and discover more about mahjong.
