SG61 Birthday Thoughts and Feelings

Year 2026 till date is a more challenging and difficult year till date, the geopolitical situations and tensions, a world economy slowing down, rising costs of working and living. Add in technology disruptions and changes, the AI movement that is rising faster than we can cope and adapt. There are times where it can get very stressful and pressurising that trickled into our daily life and living, at home and in our society.

This phrase, “Change is the only constant”, is so true for Singapore. At 61 years young, Singapore is constantly preparing for changes and future developments, from protecting our coastline against rising sea levels decades down the road, developing land for future public housing projects, indeed change is the only constant.

It’s very difficult, delicate and tricky, trying to strike a balance between future developments for the future of Singapore, preserving and protecting spaces/places whether it’s built up or green spaces.

Every generation/era faces its own unique issues, challenges and obstacles to overcome, how do we learn, adapt and adopt changes, improvements and measures to strive forward into the future, the next decade and beyond?

We may not have all the answers to all the questions, issues, challenges that Singapore is facing in a fragmented world today. Some answers to those matters might not be satisfactory to some  segments of the community. Where is the balance point that everyone of us is seeking?

There are many more topics and issues close to our heart, mind and soul, not everything gets to be said all together at once. Everyone of us have our stories to tell and share, to pass it on, an opportunity to make a difference and change, for the future generations and beyond.

Together as one Singapore country together, we can Go Beyond.

Happy SG61 Birthday to Singapore! Majulah Singapura! Go Beyond!

I would continue to pursue my personal visual storytelling projects, beside my photography business, content creation and social media marketing work, capturing and documenting Singapore’s journey and changes ahead.

This form of personal visual storytelling is intrinsically enriching, fulfilling, also a form of photography therapy and getaway.

HONOR Portrait

The HONOR Portrait mode would be great for users who like to take portraiture photos of their family, loved ones and friends.  Check out my community cats portraiture series, as well as some wildlife portraiture shot using HONOR Portrait mode.

HONOR Night

The HONOR Night photography capability is highly talked about, observe the original photographs and after AI night upscaling is applied. This capability would be a strong feature, welcomed by users who wish to capture better quality night sceneries with their smartphone.

Thoughts, Views and Notes on Magic8 Pro mobile photography

The HONOR Magic Color comprising Romantic Blue, Golden Autumn and Warm Sunset gives you a trio of interesting personalised photos effects. They can give you pretty nice effects on the photos that you took.

When you look at the options from the HONOR Classic segment, you get Vibrant, Authentic and Natural effects. The Magic8 Pro colour science has its own distinct character that users need to like, adapt or select accordingly to the mobile photography situation and context.

In the HONOR Film options, users can have a selection of different film filters to bring out the fun and nostalgia in mobile photography via the analogue photography film filters on offer, something different from the digital photography that you have been viewing a lot on social media.

If you are into taking portraitures, I reckon you would have fun with the HONOR Portrait mode that allows you to capture gorgeous and priceless portraits of your family, loved ones and friends, easy to use, producing nice bokeh and sharp portraits.

Do check out the other photographs shot by others using the HONOR Magic8 Pro on social media platforms, that would give you a more diverse range of photos quality to look at, if this HONOR Magic8 Pro suits your mobile photography preferences and styles.
