If you have the budget to set aside, go for the Canon 100mm Macro 🙂

Optics wise, Tamron won’t lose out to Canon.

Built and focusing speed, Canon is stronger.

Thanks for your comments. About the macro photography..what do you reckon is a good macro lens? Canon 100mm f/2.8 or the less expensive Tamron SP II 90mm f/2.8?

I was raised by environmentalist parents, so Earth hour wasn’t a huge change for us. We turned off appliances that would have otherwise stayed on, shut down computers, and enjoyed an otherwise peaceful and sublime hour in the dark.
