<p style="text-align: justify;">The top ten scenes of Hangzhou Digital Economy Tourism are Alibaba Group (China) Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the Cloud Town &amp; Hangzhou City Brain Co., Ltd., Xiaoshan Hipark, Turing Town, Alibaba Cloud Industrial Internet Co., Ltd., Inno &amp; Entre Town, Zhejiang Dahua Zhilian Co., Ltd., Xiaoshan Robot Town, and Wasu Digital TV Media Group, all of which are world-famous technology companies or business centers/parks.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">From my personal travel and photographer perspective, I visited Hangzhou once, it&#8217;s a beautiful historical and cultural city and I wished I was able to explore more of Hangzhou and Zhejiang Province at that time. Besides my photography and travel writing, I am also into technology writing and coverage in both consumer and enterprise technology sectors, I would have some knowledge on the technology companies from China. When I read this news on the top ten scenes of Hangzhou Digital Economy Tourism, I was intrigued and interested to learn more about how technology companies play a part in a new era of tourism and travel.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Hangzhou is the political, economic and cultural centre of Zhejiang Province. Hangzhou is an ideal MICE destination, from its rich Chinese traditional culture to passionate team building programs, to cooperation-inspiring business study trips and colourful leisure night life, a wealth of various interests that can be keenly felt for event planners.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Hangzhou&#8217;s digital economy industry has been constantly growing in recent years. The industrial sectors are empowered for development with technology innovations, along with emerging economic sectors such as the Internet, cultural creativity, financial services, health care and new energy. Top national and international conferences take roots in Hangzhou, including the APSARA Conference, 2050 Conference, Netease Future Conference, and Money20/20. The digital economy is one of the fastest growing industries, it has attracted more and more Chinese and international business tourists. This untapped tourism has become a &#8220;new blue ocean&#8221; for the development of Hangzhou&#8217;s tourism industry.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">With that in mind, Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV and Tourism launched &#8220;Top Ten Scenes of Hangzhou Digital Economy Tourism&#8221;, integrating new digital economy resources into their tourism concept. The ten scenes have established a specified visitor reception mechanism catering mainly for business tourists, allowing them to showcase their achievements in the development of the digital economy.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Alibaba</strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Alibaba is a world-renowned technology company founded in Hangzhou. Alibaba offers three visitor lines covering its Visitor Center at QINCHENGLI Mall, Tai Ji Zen Garden, Fly Zoo Hotel, and other unique resources. The spots are all representative. Alibaba&#8217;s Visitor Center shows the style of Alibaba, including Alibaba&#8217;s culture, industry, and products. As a new retail experimental field in smart commercial space, QINCHENGLI Mall relies on the big data and AI technology to upgrade the production and circulation process of commodities and form a display of new modes through deep integration of online, offline and logistics. As the first smart hotel in the world, Fly Zoo Hotel boasts 290 rooms, the future fitness center and other facilities. Facial recognition check-in, smart elevator, Tmall smart butler, robot food delivery are all part of the lure, reflecting the latest smart applications.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Hikvision </strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Hikvision is an intelligent IoT（Internet of Things） solution and big data service provider, focusing on comprehensive security, big data service and smart business. It is committed to building a smart city and digitized enterprise with integration of cloud and edge, IoT and Information, and digitization and intelligence. Covering an area of 4500 square meters, the Hikvision Exhibition Center showcases the design language centering on &#8220;light&#8221;. For example, the device in the hall is called &#8220;The light of heart mirror&#8221;, whose linkage with the big screen and the dance of light helps convey to the audience the philosophy of the company and the theme of the whole exhibition. And it shows a city empowered by high-tech, including whole-house smart home experience, road safety driving guaranteed by vehicle-road collaborative technology, AR smart scenic sights, &#8220;take and go&#8221; easy shopping area, efficient smart factories and urban operation center, etc.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Hangzhou City Brain</strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As the cradle of characteristic towns in Zhejiang, home to Hangzhou City Brain, and the permanent venue of &#8220;Cloud Computing Conference&#8221;, the Cloud Town boasts five big industry ecology of &#8220;cloud industry&#8221;, &#8220;City Brain&#8221;, &#8220;intelligent manufacturing&#8221;, &#8220;space information&#8221;, and &#8220;biological medicine&#8221;, committing itself to forge the first town in China&#8217;s digital economy. The City Brain, known as Hangzhou&#8217;s &#8220;golden name card&#8221;, enables urban managers to better allocate public resources, make scientific decisions and improve governance efficiency. Hangzhou City Brain Co., Ltd., as the operation and management main body of the smart system, is striving to become a model in Hangzhou&#8217;s digital economy tourism. This scene offers three routes covering Cloud Town Exhibition, Museum of Inspiration 2050, Herbal Garden, City Brain Base. The City Brain Base presents the new mechanism in which the Hangzhou government explores the development and construction of the city brain, including the industrial application, the process, the achievements, and the future of collaborative innovation among the government, enterprises and research institutions through the Innovation Base.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As a travel photographer and writer, as well as a technology writer, the top ten scenes of Hangzhou Digital Economy Tourism is interesting and I would love to visit when the opportunity arises, even though they are catered mainly for business tourists. This unique mix of historical and cultural roots, along with new age digital economies, makes top ten scenes of Hangzhou Digital Economy Tourism, a special tourism, digital and business hub showcase to the world.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The story behind Guo Pei: Chinese Art and Couture started almost ten years ago in Paris. Chinese fashion designer Guo Pei visited ACM traveling show on Peranakan art at Musee du quai Branly in Paris. She was charmed by the intricate beauty and exquisite details of the beadwork and embroidery objects on display. Thereafter, Guo Pei created two bridal dresses in response from her visit. Oh yes, the two bridal dresses are also part of this special exhibition too!</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">A few years later, a curator from ACM saw Chinese celebrity Angelababy wearing one of Guo Pei’s bridal dresses. Through their discussion between the curator and Guo Pei, an idea for an exhibition was born, taking on a conversation between historical art works from ACM and Guo Pei’s contemporary Chinese fashion and design, that you are viewing at Guo Pei: Chinese Art and Couture at ACM.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">When you visit Guo Pei: Chinese Art and Couture at ACM, observe the various fashion designs, be mesmerised and be in awe of the beauty, design, embroidery skills. Her fashion showcases were stunning, big, bright, colourful and making huge fashion statements to the world through the fashion display. Guo Pei’s fine art fashion showcase are along the lines of Gold, Yellow, Embroidery and Silk, Hybrid designs, Peranakan connections and Treasured heirlooms: Chinese bridal dress.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Between the Lines – The Chinese Cartoon Revolution<br />
</strong>Have you ever thought of sketches/cartoons that played a role in a country’s history and revolution? Before I visited this special exhibition, Between the Lines – The Chinese Cartoon Revolution, this notion never occurred to me.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0596.jpg"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-9393" src="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0596.jpg?resize=500%2C333" alt="" width="500" height="333" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0596.jpg?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0596.jpg?resize=225%2C150&amp;ssl=1 225w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0596.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0596.jpg?resize=1024%2C682&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0596.jpg?resize=1080%2C720&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A collaboration between Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall and the Memorial Museum of 1911 Revolution in Guangzhou, this exhibition examines the links between the 1911 Revolution in China and the arrival of Chinese cartoons in Singapore.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0593.jpg"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-9394" src="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0593.jpg?resize=500%2C333" alt="" width="500" height="333" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0593.jpg?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0593.jpg?resize=225%2C150&amp;ssl=1 225w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0593.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0593.jpg?resize=1024%2C682&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0593.jpg?resize=1080%2C720&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As the saying goes, “A picture speaks a thousand words”, the satitical sketches on display inside this exhibition tell many stories that connects with the masses on the ground level, simple, direct and straight to the point. These cartoons soon became the groundwork tools for political change and revolutionary movement to end the Imperial rule in China.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0601.jpg"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-9395" src="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0601.jpg?resize=500%2C334" alt="" width="500" height="334" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0601.jpg?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0601.jpg?resize=225%2C150&amp;ssl=1 225w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0601.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0601.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0601.jpg?resize=1080%2C721&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">While walking through this special exhibition, observing and understanding each cartoon, I am able to understand the meaning and message behind some of the cartoons before reading the short write up that comes together with the cartoon display.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0624.jpg"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-9396" src="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0624.jpg?resize=500%2C334" alt="" width="500" height="334" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0624.jpg?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0624.jpg?resize=225%2C150&amp;ssl=1 225w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0624.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0624.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0624.jpg?resize=1080%2C721&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For visitors who might not be versed in the Chinese language, although you have the English language write up and explaination, there might be some cartoons on display that you can guess and interpret correctly because the cartoon speaks to you through your eyes and into your heart.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0630.jpg"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-9397" src="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0630.jpg?resize=500%2C333" alt="" width="500" height="333" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0630.jpg?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0630.jpg?resize=225%2C150&amp;ssl=1 225w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0630.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0630.jpg?resize=1024%2C682&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0630.jpg?resize=1080%2C720&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Plan a trip to Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall and visit this special exhibition, this is definitely not the type of historical and cultural exhibition that you would usually associate with, the uniqueness and nature of cartoons that got themselves into the history and revolution of a nation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0640.jpg"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-9398" src="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0640.jpg?resize=500%2C334" alt="" width="500" height="334" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0640.jpg?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0640.jpg?resize=225%2C150&amp;ssl=1 225w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0640.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0640.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/blog.photojournalist-tgh.tv/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/B47X0640.jpg?resize=1080%2C721&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
