Grumpy Cat – First Spotted in 2022

My first encounter with Grumpy Cat was at Malay Heritage Centre in January 2022, for “Some fowl play exploration and a security cat at Malay Heritage Centre”, taking some limelight, attention and affection from the people visiting the artworks.

Lying down on the side, enjoying its siesta in lepak mode. That was iconic and memorable, especially for us cat lovers! 

Grumpy Cat over the years (2022 – 2025)

While Grumpy Cat may not have a leading role in Yew Chong’s artistic paintings and exhibitions, its presence and aura was never underestimated. Visitors to Yew Chong’s exhibitions would definitely be able to spot Grumpy Cat presence in many of Yew Chong’s paintings, exhibitions and also as a standalone artwork.

Don’t miss the bigger Grumpy Cat artworks outside Fullerton Hotel, remember to take photos with them too, definitely awesome for Instagram and social media sharing! 

Since there is Grumpy Cat flying on a magic flying carpet as well as on a flying broom stick, maybe we can see Grumpy Cat in more iconic scenes in future edition! Hope to see a Darth Grumpy Cat in Lord Vader suit with the red lightsaber, May The Grumpy Meow Be With You!
