21st September 2021 is the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, this also means that it’s Mid-Autumn Festival! Wishing everyone a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival 2021!

祝大家中秋节快乐!

Here are the cute lanterns that are located at Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall for Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2021!

I also went out to photograph the Mid-Autumn Festival full moon on 21st September and managed to get the full moon above the Old Jurong Railway Line Railway Bridge at Sunset Way/Clementi.

This is the second year whereby we celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with a global pandemic looming over us. In a pre-Covid era, I used to visit Mid-Autumn Festival light ups and lanterns display across various venues in Singapore, photographing the lanterns and light ups, enjoying the festivities.

However, during this ongoing global pandemic period, I am not as keen as before. I am mentally and emotionally fatigued from battling this global pandemic that has severely disrupted our work and daily living.

I would try to visit some of the venues such as Gardens By The Bay, Jurong Lake Gardens and Chinatown in Singapore next week on weekday evenings when the crowds tapers down, photographing the Mid-Autumn Festival 2021 lanterns and light up displays.

On this Mid-Autumn Festival 2021, I wish everyone to have a wonderful and meaningful time bonding with your family  and loved ones together over mooncakes and Chinese tea. During this difficult and challenging period due to the ongoing global pandemic situation, it’s very tough on all of us. Family and loved ones are the ones that can take care of you, protect you and help you out during this pandemic period.

Wishing all a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival 2021! 祝大家中秋节快乐!
