Canon announced EOS M50

Canon recently announced the Canon EOS M50, the latest mirrorless camera to join their family of Canon digital cameras. I had the opportunity to take a look at the Canon EOS M50 during a recent event, had a feel, touch and short hands on session, trying out the Canon EOS M50. With my hands on the Canon EOS M50 during the short hands on session, I found it to be more lightweight than the other Canon mirrorless camera models. The built-in Electronic View Finder (EVF) is a function that I would want in a mirrorless camera and they have build …

Love At Second Sight Project (Videos)

A few months back, in October 2017, I was involved with a talented and diverse group of professionals coming together for a short film project. My role was the behind the scenes photographer during the filming, as well as the portraiture and products (sponsors) photographer for the duo behind the brains, ideas, vision and direction for this short film project. For the past few months leading up to the launch of the videos in February 2018, there were sneak peaks and previews of the videos, from the behind the scenes photographs footage and coverage done by me. I would share …

My Photo and Travel blog/website is back!

For a short time period of two and a half months since my last article post, there wasn’t any new posts on my photography and travel blog/website. For those who visited my website, you might have noticed some different during that time, the categories were gone and the links were broken. During this period, it was a very frustrating time for me, seeking help from the domain and hosting services provider reseller for answers and solutions. I had to ask my friend Brian to help me in the repair and migration of all my content to another domain and hosting …

Time passed by very quickly in the blink of an eye, a year has passed since you left us from this world. A strong matriarch who loved her five generations, under her leadership and direction. Your presence can still be felt when the extended family came back for your 1st year anniversary, preparing your favourite food and offerings for the memorial service. I will always remember you, stories, thoughts and feelings from my remembrance article that I wrote in dedication to your memory in January 2017. It’s not just me, the entire extended family too, will always remember you, in …

Chargrilled Food @ The Quarters

The Quarters, a humble yet modern Singapore local food cuisine that incorporates and evolves local Singapore food delights with a modern fusion twist. From their humble beginnings with their trademark Durian Crème Brulee to the launch of The Quarters at Icon Village, followed by Kush at Timbre+, I personally seen it grow from a food cart at a pop up event to their two ModSin food cuisines today. Before the Chargrilled food event started, I went down earlier and had a chat with this ModSin food guru, Deming, the Founder of The Quarters, a person who is very passionate about …

Whiskey Appreciation Masterclass at The Whiskey House

Whisky or Whiskey? Depends on your geographic location and the English language that you are taught in, both word refer to the same alcoholic beverage around the world that we love and appreciate. The world of whisky is pretty big out there, yet there is this duplex in the world today, that has a wide selection of whiskey from all over the world inside the duplex. Where can you find this wide whiskey selection? Inside Changi Airport Terminal 2, it is known as The Whiskey …

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Review

The Canon EOS 5D series family of DSLR camera bodies are well known in the market, it’s one of the best full frame DSLR cameras with great technical specifications and capabilities. My story with the Canon EOS 5D series began with the Canon EOS 5D Mark III. When I reviewed the Canon EOS 5D Mark III in 2012, I had a fun and exciting photography adventure at that time, one of the photographs that I shot with the Canon EOS 5D Mark III review camera during that time was chosen for a photography exhibition at Gardens By The Bay when …
